Obama Really Doesn’t Think Much Of His Subjects

The psychologist-in-chief is at it again.  Voters cannot possibly be upset with Obama because he mis-read whatever mandate he had and massively over-reached by pursuing a radical agenda of class warfare, income redistribution, vilification of business, catering to unions, taxing and spending, over-regulating, handing out bailouts, ignoring the rule of law, and apologizing to our adversaries.  No, that can’t be it.

The real problem is that, unlike Obama, we are too scared to think straight:

“Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time is because we’re hardwired not to always think clearly when we’re scared,” Obama said Saturday evening in remarks at a small Democratic fundraiser Saturday evening. “And the country’s scared.”

Obama told the several dozen donors that he was offering them his “view from the Oval Office.” He faulted the economic downturn for Americans’ inability to “think clearly” and said the burden is on Democrats “to break through the fear and the frustration people are feeling.”

Thank God we have The One to think clearly for the trembling masses.

You know, the problem with Obama’s “view from the Oval Office” is that he only looks in the mirror, and he is pretty damn pleased with what he sees.
