Yet Another Reason The “Foreign Funding” Attack On The U.S. Chamber And Rove Was So Stupid

The Hill’s Blog Briefing Room reports that the law of unintended consequences remains in effect:

The GOP-aligned American Crossroads said Wednesday it has raised over $13 million since coming under attack from President Obama.  The group and its campaign affiliate, Crossroads GPS, said it had easily surpassed its initial fundraising goal of $50 million to spend on behalf of Republicans, and has increased its target to $65 million, according to spokesman Jonathan Collegio.

I suspect that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is watching its coffers start to overflow as well.  Obama & Co. may have wanted to get their base in the game through their bizarre and baseless attacks, but they appear to have generated far more enthusiasm and money for its targets than against them.
