Maybe It’s Because Michelle Obama Is Not A Nice Person, And She Says Stupid Things

I am working from home today and I have FoxNews on in the background.  On Megyn Kelly’s show, the subject of Barack Obama’s political toxicity came up, and the group started discussing why Michelle Obama is not out on the campaign trail for Democrats instead.  The consensus was that she is an asset that the Democrats should be using more.

I have a dissenting view.  Maybe they are keeping her out of the spotlight because of comments like this:

[Michelle] Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents.

Or maybe this:

“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today, “because it feels like hope is making a comeback.”

Or how about this, my wife’s favorite, on Hillary Clinton:

“And my view, is that if you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House”

Michelle Obama is only more popular that Barack Obama because her White House handlers have been smart enough to trot her out only for staged events and interviews.  Otherwise, she is a Biden-esque time-bomb.
